Молодая актриса Шейлин Вудли, которая известна по ролям в фильмах "Виноваты звезды", "Дивергент",  попала в тюрьму за участие в акции протеста в США. Всю историю с арестом она транслировала в Facebook Live.

Инцидент произошел в округе Мортон (Северная Дакота). Актриса и еще 26 активистов протестовали против строительства нефтепровода Dakota Access. Митингующих не устраивал маршрут технологического трубопровода через реку, о состоянии воды в которой они беспокоились, и то, что нефтепровод должен пройти через места захоронения индейцев. По словам Шейлин Вудли, вместе с другими протестующими она направлялась к машине, чтобы мирно вернуться в лагерь, который они разбили на берегу реки Миссури еще в мае, когда сотрудники правоохранительных органов их окружили и усадили всех протестующих в огромный грузовик.

27 человек оказались арестованы за незаконное проникновение на территорию строительства. Правда, представитель Вудли, со своей стороны, сообщил, что актриса уже выпущена из-под стражи.

The 1,100-mile (1770.28-km) pipeline, being built by a group of companies led by Energy Transfer Partners LP, would be the first to bring Bakken shale from North Dakota directly to refineries on the U.S. Gulf Coast. The group behind the Dakota Access pipeline had planned to start operations in the fourth quarter of this year, but construction has been delayed by demonstrations. On Sunday, a federal court rejected a request by the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe to halt construction of the Dakota Access pipeline but said that ruling was “not the final word,” as a necessary easement still needed government approval. On Monday, the Department of Justice, U.S. Army and Department of the Interior said that the Army, in the interim, will not authorize construction of the pipeline on Army Corps land bordering or under Lake Oahe.
